I spent today at the church and joined in egg hunter event. Yes, I competed with kids, they are so evil, manipulative, slimy and fiercely competitive, I shouldn't underestimated them and put my guard down. I've learned my lesson.
So, I've been talking about this BAD SHOUJO manga I got when it was on sale several weeks ago but just got the chance to actually read it when I and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
polymetrica was talking about bad mangas. I originally wanted to get only the on-sale Fate Stay Night vol 1 & 2 copies but the number of the mangas are not sufficient for the sale (Rp. 10000 for 3 mangas) so to make me able to purchase, I need to take one more manga.
"KURURINPA" is actually a pirated shoujo manga, look at the difference of the cover printing quality compared with the Emma and Eva copies.
And the back cover is not great too. Pirated /sigh
Basically this story is about this ditzy elementary student - girl of course, who can't do sport and being so complex about it. Because of her bishonen teacher, she enrolled in a skate class, and she met this hot shota boy with naughty strike, and fall in love and her mom doesn't allow her playing skate and etc and etc. In the end, the girl get the boy and won skate championship and get new shoes from her mom. YEY~
First time using 'magic shoe' and she already can jump on the ice rink. WOW.
I can't do this, I am so bad at sport!

I never knew that HSM has a manga! The art is quite shoujo standard and the translation was a lil bit blergh.

The art is kind of Arina Tanemura-ish. But I think Ryan Evans is really cute in this manga.
Anyone in my F-list read Victorian Romance : Emma? I heard it's already licensed in the USA & Europe. You should read it, the anime doesn't do the prettiness the manga has brought, and the second season was just horrible. The character design maybe does not appeal many people because it's less pretty than.. let's say Count Cain and Black Butler, but once you take a look over the pages and panels, you can tell how resourceful the mangaka is, the details and the effort the mangaka put for every single movie-like panel just blow my confidence up orz. Plus it's somehow way more accurate in picturing the Victorian era.
The story is quite standard. It's a love story between Emma, your everyday Victorian maid and Will, a first son of a certain rich family in England, while the premises are cheese, I think this manga is really great, mainly because instead of chessy lines, the mangaka use visuals and fluid panels to show how the characters interact - in the end, all I can feel is : 'Emma and Will deserve this'.
Charming side characters support this manga too, in fact I love the side characters more than the mains ROFL, that's why I screamed in happiness when knowing that the vol 8, vol 9 and vol 10 tell the reader more about them. Volume 9 is like THE BEST thing ever because it contained a chapter dedicated to the blonde German boy. Erick &hearts! I always love him when he shows up here and there in the main William/Emma arc. Can't wait for vol. 10 to be released, I hope it has Arthur.

KAZUYA NAKAIIII!!!! I can faint if he calls me through the telephone. Aha, my love grew when I saw one of my firsts Japanese anime (I used to watch many dubbed anime), which was One Piece. His voice was so manly and determined and so... Zoro? I don't care if people say that his voice is boring, but Kazuya Nakai's voice has helped me through many ups and down, as Zoro, as Hijikata, as Masamune, and many more of his roles. I just love his voice, OKAY?

I still have several subjects left for my midterm, I ruined my 2D but can't believe I actually can get 92 on 3D! I will do my best for constructive drawing tomorrow~!
